Smite vs Bullet Damage: When Useful
Smythe is good because it inflicts light damage in the affected radius. You can shoot bullets at 5-10-15 enemies. Smythe hits everyone at once. 150-200 enemies. Because of this, he can deal more damage in total.
But for the 1st goal it is weak. Even if you take the entire branch of smite together with elite ysmite, it will be 5-10 times weaker than bullet damage. Smite is especially useless against bosses.
At the beginning of the battle, if you take smite + left smite trait, it seems useful. He kills simple mobs. But the more you pump up shells and bullet damage (lightning, fire, curse, frost), the less useful the smite will be.
It’s just that after a certain point, smythe doesn’t kill anyone. Its damage is calculated as a % of the attack (the elite will add 60% of the bullet damage).
For example, a frost domain deals 10% of the damage from the Max HP of a killed mob to nearby enemies.
