Collectibles: What to Upgrade First
A phased plan for leveling relics — not a flat tier list. Start cheap, move to the universal top as it drops from events, then specialize by your hero's element. The two upgrade levers are kept separate below.
Costs only enhancement energy. The main, cheap lever — pour it freely into whatever you're prioritizing. Raises flat attack and the relic's bonuses.
Costs the relic's own shards, which are scarce. Save stars for the top relics only — that's where the elemental and crit special stats scale up. Don't waste shards on fodder.
Start — no top relics yet
Early on the jackpot boxes don't drop. Pour level-energy into the cheap q2/q3 relics you do get — they're first anyway, cheap, and give flat attack right away. Don't wait for q7, and don't spend shards yet.

Universal top — for every hero
As these drop from events, switch your level-energy here, and spend your first shards here too. They boost damage on any hero, regardless of element.
