The community's answer to the developers' reply
This letter is published at the request of the player community. The site acts as a platform: we publish the letter as it is, we are not its author and we do not sign it on our own behalf.
← The first letter and the developers' replyGood day. We have studied your reply carefully. Thank you — now we see your reaction, your involvement in the gameplay and your willingness to hear players. This first step matters a lot; before it, players felt they were talking to a wall in the Suggestion channel on Discord. Many have already called this progress a positive change.
1. Slow down the pace of updates and new systems
On the first question we came to an agreement. You agreed to revise the release schedule so that players have enough time to fully understand and master each system.
Let us simply remind players what we have received recently.
List of additions:
- New gun Freezing Core
- Gene system
- Trooper armor
- New secondary weapon
- Special Ability reshaping
- New tactical skills
- Mutation Skills
- New card albums
- New survivors
- New statues
- New collections
- New season mechanics
- New GvG mode Apocalypse
- Reworked Darktide HQ
- Titles
You have added a great many new systems and mechanics. We appreciate that, but we also see that your resources go into the new instead of fixing the old.
2. Improve translations and descriptions
You acknowledged that clear and accurate communication is extremely important. You say this is ongoing work and that you keep improving it.
The Darktide HQ mode was introduced on April 17, 2026. Four months have passed.
The Desert Eagle secondary weapon was introduced on June 5. Two and a half months have passed.
The translation of season traits does not match the Trait Codex description.
All of this shows that the work is not being done.
On the remaining questions you say "we appreciate, we hear and understand, we will certainly consider and take this into account" — but not now, some time in the future. That looks like a promise to promise again.
That is why we have put together a full list of gameplay improvements that you can start working on right now. Without postponing it.
The full current list of points

Free server transfers
Free transfers between servers without unequipping gear. Quotas should be limited by server CP. Widen the transfer range. Merge dead servers. Merge P servers with ZW servers.
Your reply contains a direct refusal to solve this problem. Our position, however, has not changed. And this question is the key one.
Claiming that you cannot make any promises when server merges have already been carried out successfully in this game means openly disregarding our memory and common sense. Whoever prepared that reply either does not know the game's history or simply did not look into it. Transfers are currently suspended under the pretext of the new GvG mode, which creates enormous extra inconvenience for players who want to play with friends or move to a livelier server. We see no technical difficulty in merging P servers with ZW servers. Behind this there is only an unwillingness to solve the problem and a convenient screen of technical excuses.
Moderators have a transfer range of 1000 servers. So for you this really is a matter of a couple of clicks.

Equal access to saving tools and services
We accept that the base price in dollars can be the same everywhere. However, players in different regions face different final amounts because of taxes, exchange rates and store policies.
We ask you to:
- Give equal access to the official black card store with all discounts and bonuses to players from every country (including the RU region, which is currently denied it).
- Allow accounts to be rebound from VK/RuStore to Google/Facebook/Apple for equal access to the services and bonuses available on other platforms.
- 3
Rework the PvP system
Add detailed post-battle statistics, as other games do. Because CP is inflated, other attributes lose their meaning. Only 2 books are used in PvP — Energy Laser and Smart Sight for every weapon. No other combinations exist. Add the ability to dismantle books, since players spent a long time upgrading only those two.
An example of well-presented post-battle statistics:
- 4
Red robots perform worse than yellow ones in PvP
Opponents become stronger when you upgrade your robot from yellow to red.
Here is an example:
Even though the deer robot never entered the fight and dealt 0 damage, the opponent Coastal Ace dealt 3.8% more total damage. Upgrading the robot to red only made things worse.
We know you are already working on fixing this; we publish it so that everyone can see it.
PvP fights last 7–9 seconds (they used to last 15–20). Nitro is almost never used, while many skills depend on using Nitro.
- 5
Ratings and records system
A ratings and records system for Apex, VB and PvP, including events (Ski Race, for example). Available in the game or on a website.
A leaderboard already exists on a website, and many people rated that work positively. Why do you not want to take part? Let us make a records table.
- 6
Revise the P2W policy
It used to be possible to save tickets/crystals for 2–3 months and buy what you needed. Now many items cannot be bought for crystals — Mech Robot, SP Robots, Silver Wolf. (Many players still only have the helicopter.)

- 9
- 10
Open every card in the backpack with one button
Open every card in the backpack with one button, except those needed for evolution.
- 11
Backpack order
Clean up the backpack / add customizable sections. Add the ability to hide items you do not need.
- 12
Watering the camp garden
In the camp, the "Collect all" button should automatically water the gardens of up to 5 pre-selected friends.
- 13
Difficulty levels in TR
Add difficulty levels to TR mode. Show elite boss HP in TR. Automatic TR clearing up to 15,000 points with a pass purchased (endless sweep).
- 14
More Challenge Stages
Add more Challenge Stages. Expand the Cosmic Cube.
- 15
Auto-clearing the Challenge Tower
Auto-clearing of the Challenge Tower tied to CP (not limited to 10 per week).
- 16
Loadout presets
Add the ability to create loadout presets for Guns, Heroes, Compasses, Robots, Genes and Blueprints, with automatic accessory upgrading.
- 17
Protection against misclicks in Neurolink
Add a double lock on Neurolink rows to prevent accidental taps. The red rows especially.
- 18
Refunds for mistaken purchases
Refunds for mistaken purchases. Set a minimum threshold, for example 2000 black cards, for accidental taps or wrong purchases.
- 19
A test room with a DPS meter
Add a test room with a DPS meter, a timer and detailed statistics. Configurable dummies — 10, 50, 200 static enemies, plus bosses — for comparing builds.
- 20
Post-battle statistics
Add post-battle statistics. The ability to see movement speed, fire rate, reload speed, robot and mech robot damage, with damage broken down by bullets and elements.
- 21
Starting wave and difficulty in VB
Let players choose the starting wave for VB — for example −50, −10 or −1. Rework difficulty levels and bosses. After wave 3000 there is nothing new. Remove the need for 10–12 hour AFK runs.
- 22
Rewards and difficulty in old modes
Rewards in the old modes — VB, Apex, Lost City, Forgotten Realm — need reworking. Add difficulty levels for Boss Battle and Guild Boss. Guild Boss does not go above level 259. One strong player passes that threshold in a single battle. The rest of the players do not take part for the whole week.
The boss battle during the Spring festival:
- 23
Turning off exclamation marks
Add the ability to turn off exclamation marks — frames, icons, unused resources, chests, genes, weapon accessory boxes.
- 24
Lags and visual effects
Reduce lags. Add the ability to turn visual effects off completely. Turn off damage numbers.
You have already turned the visual effects off on the Electrosaw, then, after player complaints, you reworked the visual effects of Blazing Summer. Now you have again introduced a mass of new visual effects with no way to turn them off. This ignores common sense. With visual effects on the game is unplayable. Neither the character nor the enemies are visible. The lags are back. The Electrosaw problem with the Shock skill has not been solved.
An example from the game:
- 25
In-game chat and nickname length
Improve the in-game chat — the message length is too small (80 characters), the cooldown is too strict, there are too few emoji. Increase the nickname length (only 8 characters). Do not say it is difficult — you added long titles.
- 26
- 27
Poor TP support
TP support is poor. A player waited more than a month for his Cosmic Cube. Is that really such a big problem?
- 28
Changed collection event rewards
You changed the rewards and stages of the collection event. Now you have to accumulate 2400 instead of 1500. A player who has just joined the game will look at that and think they need to save up for 6–8 months. On top of that you removed from the rewards the box with the statue that brings resources, given at stage 5 for spending 1500 (Discovery attempt card). The BP changed as well. Changing rewards is not fair. Whoever missed the event last time will get worse rewards this time. (The FOMO effect again.) If you change the rewards, it would be fair to provide a transition period — say, one more event with a choice of rewards.
- 29
Minibosses stronger than bosses
The Sniper and Rock Thrower minibosses are stronger than bosses; they take 2 hearts off the main hero at once. They attack from off-screen and cannot be seen. Their HP is not shown either. A dynamic game is good, there is no need to stand in a corner regenerating HP. But the player must have a chance to dodge the attack.
- 30
Explain new mechanics clearly
New mechanics need to be explained clearly (Chaos Attack, All Damage Amplify). Why do you release a guide every time on how we had better spend money, but no guides on new mechanics and game modes? A proper guide to the new Apocalypse mode is needed.
- 31
Unfinished items and recycling surplus
Unfinished items and partially collected materials need to be brought back into the game. Statue shards. There is no need to keep giving 5 pieces as a second-place reward. Do not be greedy.
A recycling system for surplus items is needed (robot shards, mech zombie shards, cortical implants, green collection shards, secondary weapon accessories, survivor shards, spare statues, helicopter shards, evolution items (trousers), spare tonics).
- 32
First-clear rewards for stages
Revise the first-clear rewards for stages 210, 220, 230 and so on. Some rewards are laughable. Many VIP players have already received them. Let them choose their own rewards (a statue, a car, a collection and so on).
We have made our list of demands more specific and expanded it so that you have a way to start working.
Every day more and more experienced players who form the backbone of the community leave the project, tired of endless problems. New players who join the game run into an aggressive monetization policy and imbalance right at the start, which simply pushes them away. This process keeps the game from growing and leads it into a dead end.
We love this game. We have put years, money and heart into it. We are not the developers' enemies. We are partners. But partnership implies respect and attention to each other's problems.
We are not demanding everything at once. We understand that some changes take time. We ask you to:
- By August 31 — implement at least the simple changes ("Collect all" buttons, turning visual effects off, refunds for mistaken purchases).
- Draw up a roadmap for the remaining points with specific deadlines.
- Start a dialogue with the community — publish progress, explain decisions, ask for opinions.
August 31 — a no-spend day
August 31 will be a no-spend day. We call on all players not to spend money in the game that day, so that you can see we are serious.
The top player by CP on the RU servers has confirmed taking part in the action:
If our demands are ignored, we will extend the action: 3 days, 5 days, 7 days.
We do not want to harm the game. We want it to become better. For everyone.
The action is being supported in the player communities:
We are waiting for your answer. Not promises, but actions.
Respectfully, United Players Coalition.
Discussion and coordination
The letter is prepared and coordinated by the player community on its own Discord. Edits and suggestions for the list are collected there as well.
