Machine Treasures: Formidable War Elephant
The Treasure of Machines event is live again, this time with the super robot Commander: Dread War Elephant. Plenty of players are still unsure how it works and where their money goes furthest. Below is a short breakdown of the mechanics, a count of the free cores, and four spending tiers.
Original author: 狗头军师 (Goutou Junshi). Prices in the original are in yuan; the dollar price of the same packs is given in brackets. All event rewards, pools and the shop are on the Treasure of Machines page.
How the draw works
At the bottom is the Supply Pool with 7 slots. One of them is the Mecha-Gem (the gold crystal):
- Hit the Mecha-Gem and you get one draw in the Core Pool above.
- Rewards never repeat within a round, so the Mecha-Gem is guaranteed within 7 Supply Pool draws.
- The Core Pool is also emptied in at most 7 draws.
Supply Pool rewards upgrade after a certain number of draws: the amounts go up. The screenshot above shows the max level.
Once the Grand Prize you picked drops, a Reset Prize Pool button appears.
The key rule: Grand Prize dropped — reset right away
The cost of a draw depends on the round:
- round 1 — 1 Power Core per draw;
- rounds 2 and 3 — 2 cores;
- round 4 onwards — 3 cores.
The later the round, the pricier every draw. So as soon as the Grand Prize drops, reset the pool and keep drawing. The author says it three times for a reason.

¹ Clearing every quest takes 15,000 diamonds spent and 25 robot-voucher draws.
Fully free. Draw 30 times a day: the Daily Competition pays 5 cores, some Energy Crystals and diamonds for it. That comes to about 243 draws — 3–4 pool resets (more with luck). You pick the Grand Prize yourself. Expect roughly 70–90k Energy Crystals (luck-dependent) to spend in the event shop.
Spending tiers
In every tier, buy out everything sold for diamonds each day.
1. ~600 draws — light spender
Buy: battle pass ¥128 ($19.99) — 240 draws; daily pack ¥6 ($0.99) for 10 days — 120 draws. With the free ones that is 563 draws.
How to draw: split over 8 days — 7 days of 80 draws and 1 day of 43. Over 8 days the Daily Competition adds 40 more, 603 in total.
Cost: ¥188 (≈ $30).
You get:
- Dread War Elephant ×1;
- Precision Type Memory ×14;
- 8–10 Grand Prize resets (prioritize rainbow collectibles);
- diamonds;
- 250–350k Energy Crystals to exchange.
2. ~1000 draws — recommended tier
Buy:
- battle pass ¥128 ($19.99) — 240 draws;
- daily pack ¥6 ($0.99) for 10 days — 120;
- daily pack ¥18 ($2.99) for 9 days — 216;
- pack ¥30 ($4.99) × 5 — 180.
With the free ones that is 959 draws.
How to draw: all 10 days, do at least 80 draws a day, and no more. The spare ~209 draws can go toward first place in the ranking. The Daily Competition pays 20 Precision Type Memory, 50 cores, Energy Crystals and diamonds. 1009 draws in total.
Cost: ¥500 (≈ $82).
You get:
- Dread War Elephant ×2 (1 more from the event shop — enough for 2★);
- UR survivor Pirate Queen ×1 (2 more from the shop — 2★);
- 14–17 Grand Prize resets (prioritize rainbow collectibles);
- diamonds;
- 500–550k Energy Crystals (spend on the Elephant and Pirate Queen first).
Buying one Elephant from the shop is a must — without it you can't reach 2★. At 2★ the Elephant lets you bring an extra pet into battle.
3. ~2200 draws — max-star Elephant
Buy:
- battle pass ¥128 ($19.99) — 240 draws;
- daily pack ¥6 ($0.99) for 10 days — 120;
- daily pack ¥18 ($2.99) for 10 days — 240;
- daily pack ¥30 ($4.99) twice a day for 10 days — 720;
- pack ¥68 ($9.99) × 1 — 48;
- pack ¥98 ($14.99) × 3 — 192;
- pack ¥128 ($19.99) × 5 — 400.
With the free ones that is 2163 draws.
At this tier you can go for first place in the ranking: it pays limited accessories and a returning camp skin. But even racing for #1, keep to 80 draws a day — otherwise you overpay and miss out on materials, Energy Crystals and other rewards. The Daily Competition pays 20 Precision Type Memory, 50 cores, Energy Crystals and diamonds. 2213 draws in total.
Cost: ¥1970 (≈ $315).
You get:

- Pirate Queen ×4 (1 more from the shop — 4★, 2 more — 4.5★);
- 31–35 Grand Prize resets (prioritize rainbow collectibles);

4. ~2800 draws — both at max stars
Buy: everything from tier 3 plus pack ¥328 ($49.99) × 4 — 600 draws. With the free ones that is 2763 draws.
Ranking and the 80-draws-a-day rule work the same as in tier 3. With the Daily Competition you end up with 2813 draws.
Cost: ¥3282 (≈ $515).
You get:
