Zombie Waves Codex

Virtual Battleground

A weekly endless-wave mode: a run starts near your all-time best floor rather than at wave 1, kills pay points, and the week ends with rewards for your place on the leaderboard. On top of the regular battleground sits Apex, where you gamble on a starting floor.

How a run works

A season lasts a week and starts on Monday. Two runs a day: the first is free, the second costs diamonds (the Diligence Subsidy talent waives it). The season settles two hours before it closes.

A run does not start at wave 1: the game rolls you back from your all-time best by 60% of the floors, but never more than 50. Skipped floors count as cleared, so their points land before the first shot.

2,5002,45050
That rollback is what makes a high record pay twice: the higher it is, the closer to the top the next run begins and the more points arrive for free.

Points and ranking

A normal monster is worth 10 points, an elite 1,000, a boss 2,000. Points from every run of the season add up, and your rank is decided by the total.

Battlefield talents raise those numbers: the small-monster branch goes up to +100 points per kill, the elite/boss branch up to +15,000.

Ranking rewards arrive by mail once the season settles. Your all-time best floor is not reset — it carries across seasons and unlocks one-off prizes.

Score chests

Chests open along the way as points pile up. Their gates scale with the week of the season: the table below is the ×1 multiplier, so multiply by your own week's number.
